Celebrating Easter in Sussex County, DE

Whether you are looking for a fun activity for the kids or Easter Eats with the family, here is a short list of a couple of activities going on around the southern part of Delaware for Easter.

Easter Palooza at Grove Park in Rehoboth DE: Hosted by Harvest Church, this free event features an Easter egg hunt, games, and activities for all ages from 11 am -2 pm on April 19, 2025

Great Delaware Kite Festival at Cape Henlopen State Park: Celebrating its 57th year, this festival kicks off with an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. on Good Friday, followed by impressive kite competitions.

Community Easter Egg Hunt is hosted by Grace Church Milton DE, on Saturday, April 19th at 9am.  This is a free event for all ages.  There will be Songs and Celebration, A Special Story, and a Massive Easter Egg Hunt.

Sundaes with the Easter Bunny at The Frozen Farmer Bridgeville, DE.  Saturday, April 12, 2025 1pm until 3pm, and Sunday April 13, 2025 1pm until 3pm.  Come take pictures with the Easter Bunny and enjoy a Bunny Sundae!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt by the Seaford Parks and Recreation on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 10am located at the Jay’s Nest Football Fields.  Come join the fun at this FREE Annual Easter Egg Hunt, for ages toddler to 9 year old.

Jelly Bean Jamboree 512 Franklin Street Denton, MD by the Chesapeake Culinary Center on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11am.  This is a FREE Community Event featuring Music, Free pictures with the Easter Bunny, egg hunting, Bake Sale, Community resources, and more!

Easter Egg Hunt at 26026 Patriots Way Georgetown, DE by the United Church DE.  On April 12, 2025 from 10am until 12pm at Sussex Central High School.  This event is Free to everyone.  Bring your family and friends for a morning of laughter, fun, and Easter surprises.

 Milford DE Doggie Easter Egg Hunt at 644 N. Dupont Blvd Milford DE by Yarn & Bone Pet Supply & Pet Wash.  Inside egg hunt for dogs.  Dogs will hunt for eggs throughout the store and they can keep the ones they find.
