Right off the bat, the poured concrete foundation is 3.5 times stronger than cinder block and it makes sense because if you can picture cinder block, they have large gaps filled with nothing but air. Furthermore, our poured concrete foundations have a wide range of benefits like being less porous which reduces the chance of water infiltration into the crawlspace. On top of that, we apply an asphalt-based moisture block barrier to the exterior concrete and then cover the interior wall with thick, Styrofoam sheeting that insulates the crawl space which improves the homes' energy efficiency.
