LOVED the Lloyd layout and tree lined lot. Everyone we dealt with throughout the process -- Chesa, Nikki, Hunter and Ann -- are professional and knowledgeable. They all contributed to make the process as easy as it can possibly be. Our realtor, Missy Graver, was the best we could have hoped for and she worked well with all Insight personnel.

We have lived in our Whatley model for 20 months and the average of our gas and electric bill is only $112. THIS IS a better home.

Robert (sales) took the time to ask questions on what we were looking for and at what price point. He was knowledgeable on the different options that we were looking for and made suggestions on what changes could be made. Nikki (customer care) was very helpful in matching different styles and colors that made the house 'ours'. Nikki is very knowledgeable and was great to work with. Jose (construction manager) was thorough on the pre-drywall walk through and explained all the mechanics of the house in detail. He was able to answer all my questions and pointed out many updates to the construction of the house that improved the quality of the construction.

Our pre-drywall meet with Jose was excellent. Over the years I’ve worked through several builds and Jose is by far the best site manager I’ve ever met. He is certainly a valuable asset for Insight! We have been in our Cartwright home for about 3 months. It has been a very hot summer as our central air is set to go on when needed. July was an extremely hot month and when we got our electric bill it was $87. I called up the electric company to confirm it was a full month's bill which it was. Wow! When Insight builds an energy-efficient house they mean it!

We built our home in 2019 and are coming up on our two-year move-in anniversary. After a bumpy start which the company worked hard to rectify we are still very happy with our decision to build our custom dream house with Insight Homes. It is quiet, solid and has had no leaks despite being right on the bay with strong winds and weather. Our energy bills in the hottest months are amazingly low. Our friends and family continue to comment on the quality construction and attention to detail. We had a few warranty issues and they were dealt with timely and close to our satisfaction.

The information shared about the type of home that Insight builds has turned out to be quite accurate. It is incredible how clean (dust-free) the home is staying with the filtration system. Our electric bills are running about $110.00 per month for 3,200 square feet of living space! That is impressive. After researching builders and sites for approximately two years, Deb and I chose Insight Homes as our Delaware residence. "How was Settlement/Closing?"
What a pleasure! It was more like a visit with friends than a legal meeting except for signing all those papers… and where else does the lawyer give you a house warming gift at closing?

Most of all, the people at Insight go out of their way to make sure we are having a positive experience. They are friendly and efficient and listen well. If an issue arises, as surely one will during such a complex process, they hear the concerns and set about finding a solution.

We have bought and sold many homes, several of them have been new construction and want you to know that we have been very impressed so far with the customer care we have received from everyone at Insight Homes.  Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to prepare a process that is focused on the happiness of the buyer.

I'd like to recognize Heather and Brian; they have been so helpful with our many questions and emails in the building process. We've never done this before, and they made everything so smooth!

After deciding to move to Delaware, my wife and I researched areas in Sussex County wanting to be close to the beach and the activities surrounding beach life. We found Insight Homes at a development in Milton called Windstone. Insight referred us to another development where they were building homes. We fell in love with the development and decided to build a home using Insight. Insight's professionalism from the start to the end was always focused on our needs as buyers. Their patient enthusiasm was refreshing and carried throughout the process. The construction of the home and the materials used to build the home were of top quality. The energy efficiency of the home has been outstanding as promised to us from the builder. We are now in our home eighteen months and to this day the staff at Insight responds to our needs exceeding all expectations. It truly is Just a Better House.

We love our Insight Home, our power bill for July 2011 was negative $14. Absolutely amazing.

My husband and two children have been living in a Insight Home for more than a year now and we could not be happier! My wife and I are extremely satisfied with our Jerry home at the Windstone community. Insight Homes delivered on everything they promised and more. The included basic features such as interior doors, door hardware, baseboards, frames, lighting fixtures, bath fixtures and exhaust fans are all upgrades over the usual "contractors grade". The fit and finish of the house is exceptional. We wouldn't have known that Hurricane Irene existed last fall if it hadn't been all over the TV news. From inside our house, it was just another rainstorm.

Insight Homes is building our new home. Rob, the builder, goes beyond the standard for energy efficiency. Most builders put in a high SEER heat pump and call it energy efficient. Rob delivers the whole package. He is a genius that builds the most efficient house on the east coast at a price compared to normal homes. Great investment. Low electric bills and clean air are proof of his designs. You ROCK Rob. Our home looks great and is way beyond our expectations. Ed and I are in our new home and couldn't be more pleased with it. We would and do recommend Insight Homes to anyone considering a move. During our search, we looked at roughly 30 homes between existing and new construction... ask our tired realtor. :) Then we looked at Windstone, met Josh who explained how Insight builds, windows, heating, etc. We checked online for information about Insight Homes too. I moved into my Insight Home on July 3rd. I was promised I would be in before the 4th of July and Insight came thru with their promise. My Insight Home is everything and more than I expected. What can we say about our Insight Home other than we love everything about it! Coming from an engineering background, I was impressed with the technology employed by Insight Homes and the "green" features they include that other builders have not yet begun to consider. Insight runs different specials as they evaluate the latest technology, and we were lucky to get in on their solar panel special. We have a 1,750 square foot house with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and we are currently carrying a $150 credit balance on our electric bill through August of this year (2012).

We had a great experience building our new home and we received attentive and professional service from everyone in the company up to and including the owner. We believe that Insight certainly offers the best value in Sussex County and we love the quietness and comfort inside our home - regardless of the temperature or noise outside. We love our new Insight home, I guess all good things take time and it was worth the wait. From start to finish the house was completed in 105 days. Weather slowed it down. But there are two solid employees that I would like to especially thank, Ann Cummings and Doug Sylvester. They kept up and put up with me. (I'm a perfectionist) What a great job they did for us. They always had the answers for all of my questions and got the job done right. As far as the house, it's built solidly like old world craftsmanship. Solid, quiet and comfortable and for a price well below the competition. Also the neighborhood here at Cedar Ridge is a delight, a county mix with convenience for shopping. Not to mention, the close-but not too close, great beaches of Delaware. They are only 25-35 minutes away. Wow, we feel like we have it all.

I am a very particular person (so I've been told). At first I thought an Insight Home was a little "too good to be true." However at every turn, when I thought I found a possible flaw in a material or a building technique I was eventually humbled (and thankful) that I was wrong. Accolades to Insight and the great people who make it work!

Love, love, love my new home… I think I don't clearly remember everything from final walkthrough and orientation because I was so excited, not because things were not adequately presented. My fault, not Insight! Fortunately when I've had a question you have provided the answers. Very helpful warranty people, and Doug has still responded when I had a question, even though he is finished with my project… service above and beyond expectations!

My punch out list created during the walk-through consisted of about 6 very minor items & they were fixed prior to closing. My friends recently had a house built in Selbysville. They were with me when I did my walk-through. They were very impressed with the quality of work done on my house & even more surprised when they found out the items on the list were fixed prior to closing. They're approaching their 1-year anniversary & are still trying to get their 30-day punch out list completed. My friend said her husband was very depressed after he left my house & went home to his. lol They regret not doing more research before they picked their builder. I on the other hand have absolutely no regrets in my choice! Insight did a superior job on my build & I've had several "contractor" friends that agree! I love my house & neighborhood. I'm grateful my Realtor suggested you as I was looking at NV-Homes & Schell Brothers. Not being from the area I was not familiar with my options in builders.

The house was spotless. Doug's orientation was very informative. The house is just beautiful!!!

Nick D'Alterio is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the home, and very patiently explained everything to me in terms I understood. He was very patient with me as I asked a million questions, and knowing I was from out of state, he sent pictures and updates on a regular basis, and encouraged me to visit any time it was convenient for me. He was always available for my schedule, and always answered my questions either within the hour, or at least made a call by the end of the day. His attention to detail was superb, and led a team of fine craftsmen in building me my dream home. He knew who was doing what at any given moment, and kept me informed of what to expect every week. During our walk-throughs, if he ever saw anything out of sorts, he had it corrected immediately. The man has the patience of a saint, and treated me as though I had the only house he was building at that moment, even though I knew he was overseeing several others.

For us, Nick was a rock of confidence. We felt we did our homework in finding the right builder as well as our ideal location, however beyond our control was the actual quality of the house construction. Nick reassured us about the lot, house positioning, soil drainage, model specs, layout modifications and overall builder philosophy. His knowledge of "green home" mechanicals and construction was refreshing and very much appreciated. After our first meeting we knew the construction of our home was in very capable hands. Nick is a true gentleman and was a delight to work with. The beauty and quality of our new house says it all!

The craftsmanship is superb. I have a family member who is also involved in home renovations, and as he is local, he offered to watch out for me during the construction process. As he is quite particular about how things should be done, anytime he observed progress, he never found any issues that raised his concern, and told me I should feel quite comfortable knowing I'm living in a very well-built house. Additionally every team member was very kind, outgoing, and informative. More like family than sales people. Brian Cummings and Dave Quattrini were extremely helpful in providing all the right information for me during my decision process, and Nick was the absolute expert in pulling all the building parts together to give me my house in the quickest amount of time feasible.

[Insight offers] very nice looking Models and floor plans. Although there are many communities with mega-amenities, you pay mega-HOA fees to go along with that and for someone who is looking to retire there, the HOA fees would be extremely burdensome to someone on a fixed income. The Woods at Stonewater has the right amount of amenities at the right HOA fees. Chesa Uson was a wonderful sales person. We are from another state and had to communicate regularly with her. She was patient accommodating and a valued partner in the home buying process. Bottom line, she was just great!!! You can't say enough good things about Nick (site supervisor). He was great! Very thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. You know you were dealing with someone who was compassionate about his job and the company he represented. It was a great settlement and we really enjoyed working with Bonnie and Tina. [At completion] everything was clean and ready to move in. Very satisfied. Great overall experience! We are so happy we chose Insight homes. Very well built and care taken in every process. This is what homeowners want and that extra care will result in positive comments to others especially via social media which is so important today. That little bit of customer TLC goes a long way to promote Insight Homes.

Mitch was amazing!!!! Mitch was able to answer all our questions. If we left a message for Mitch he responded quickly. Our settlement was a disaster to say the least Mitch thought outside the box and helped us resolve a huge issue. Mitch is the BEST!!! John was extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant to work with and to speak with he always responded quickly to questions we had. Again, John was EXCELLENT!!!!

...best bang for the buck -- all fixtures etc. are not "builders grade" -- they are awesome! Brian was an excellent communicator and John is just outstanding in his knowledge.John is excellent at what he does. It's very refreshing to deal with your entire staff... everything was just superior I would do it all over again. Very painless!

Brian was wonderful to work with it. We knew several years ago that Insight Homes was the builder we wanted to use, but we were not ready to move to this area just yet. Brian waited patiently and continued to answer all of our questions even though we were years away from signing a contract. When we did finally start the process of buying a Vandelay, Brian guided us through the process seamlessly. He gave us good advice and we were completely happy with him.John was absolutely excellent. He was always true to his word. He responded to all of our many questions very quickly. We could not have had a better construction manager.

I am so happy with my Insight Home. There have been so many compliments on the building of my home from the neighbors. The hours each day worked on this house and the materials are what the neighbors commented on.

Nick was awesome to work with and was always very responsive. He did a wonderful job! I can't believe his knowledge on every aspect of the home. He is wonderful.

Mike was an outstanding Construction Manager.

Beyond expectations... everyone involved with this home purchase were exceptional. We chose Insight Homes over our second choice because more options were given without paying for them.

We LOVED working with Mitch (community sales manager). I can't wait to have other friends meet Mitch and sell them a house. Insight is lucky to have a Construction Manager like John. I can't say enough about him. John is what the buyer wants. I have never seen a site manager keep things move as well as he did. Stayed on top of everything day to day. Excellent on these choices are not enough for me to comment on John.

I love my Insight Homes at Stonewater Creek; we bought a Jerry model and it's as beautiful as I imagined, the quality is exceptional, and the company is very responsive to any questions or concerns. This is our 5th new build home and this was by far our best experience.

Sorry I am a little behind in getting this thank you message to you and all involved. The repairs to our island lights went without a hitch. The work was flawless and the workers were great... all were professional, friendly and cleaned up when they were finished. Jake was very nice and helpful and offered his assistance when needed. It is reassuring to know Insight doesn't forget you after settlement; a bigger bonus is how friendly and understanding everyone is and the fact they do want the reputation of a "better" house and live up to it! We love our Whatley and our Sandstone development! Thanks again to you, Jake and all involved for taking care of the island lights.

Good morning, just wanted to touch base and let you know that the replacement took place yesterday as scheduled. Thank you for your help in making the correction. Insight Homes has been extremely responsive to our issues and we greatly appreciate it. The slogan of LSD [lower slower Delaware] certainly does not apply to your employees or contractors.

Pete and I want to write to express how much we appreciated Mike's help during the selections process. Having never built a home before, we didn't know what to expect, but he made the process easy and his suggestions were helpful. Also, our appointment with Cassandra at Sound FX could not have gone better. She was very knowledgeable about the products and her positive attitude put us at ease. We are so excited about our Insight Home!

We broke ground on October 22 and had our pre-drywall walk-through yesterday, November 17. We have been very impressed, so far, with the progress of the building project and the quality of the work performed.

Mike Krim, our construction supervisor, has done an excellent job lining up the subcontractors and maximizing the best use of time. He has demonstrated that he has a very good sense of attending to detail and oversight of the quality of work being performed. He has done a good job of managing our expectations and his honesty has been appreciated. We realize that it is too easy to cover up substandard work and feel fortunate that he is advocating for us as the home owners. We hope that the remainder of the project goes as well.

I have managed enough projects in my own work experience to realize that good work deserves positive feedback. So far, great job!

Tough one there. Insight really had us sold with the very informative videos. It would be nice if others builders had them, but maybe they're afraid they wouldn't live up to your standards.

I am so glad I purchased an Insight Home, not only for the beautiful home and the excellent energy efficiency, but also for the seriously dedicated warranty services. I can truthfully say that buying my Insight Home was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
